POLICY/PROCEDURE:
This document explains the policy for the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.
DGN Marketing Services Ltd (“DGN”) believes that privacy is critical for the maintenance and growth of its customer-supplier relationships. Our business as a service provider requires that we ensure all information supplied to us is used in a manner that is consistent with the purpose for which it is supplied.
By entering into a service agreement with us a customer either expresses or implies that we use their company or personal information for the purpose of fulfilling their orders and other activities that have been contracted to DGN.
DGN collects some personal information for the purpose of fulfilling customer orders. DGN does not retain any financial information about any of its customers.
All other information necessary for the fulfilment of orders are contained in electronic and/or hard copy files and is accessible only by authorised individuals. Personal information retained includes but is not limited to: name, address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail.
DGN does not share mailing lists or any customer information with third parties, except to those contracted to provide a service, and only when such information is necessary to fulfil a part of the service agreement, with our customer.
Personal information relating to employees of DGN is stored in personnel files and is accessible only to authorised individuals.
All employees are required to read and sign DGN’s “Confidentially of Information Agreement”. This occurs at the time of hire and/or whenever there is an amendment.
DGN may make exceptions to this policy to the extent provided for in the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and other relevant Canadian and Ontario legislation in effect.
Our customers can request a change to their information, held in our database, at any time. This can include deletions or additions.
